2013年の設立以来、世界各地で作品を発表しながら現在は東京を拠点に活動するファッションブランドWearing Maiaのpop-upショップがギャラリーに出現！
ファッションを身につける人を元気づけるアイテムをレポートします♪
現在は渋谷を拠点に活動しているブランドです。
デザイナーのアート感覚と確固たる裁縫技術がマッチして生み出されるアイテムには、
「ファッションを楽しんでHappyに！」そんなブランドの姿勢が貫かれています。
どのアイテムも明るいポップなカラーとシンプルで大胆なアウトラインが印象的で、
ここ原宿のテイストにもマッチするアイテムです。
どれもブランドのスピリットを備えたLovelyなアイテムです。
展示空間のポップな飾り付けも展示の演出を盛り上げます。
スペースがすっかりポップアップショップに変身です♪

展示コンセプト
This collection aims to empower people to wear their inner awkwardness on the outside. weather it be a lovely obaasan\'s unwavering stare, a gawking child or a side glance from a salary man, have fun with what you wear.
プロフィール
Wearing Maia is designed for sassy individuals who like being fabulous and fancy-free. This one off designer label was established in 2013 and she has been creating wearable art statement pieces ever since.
Having the eye of a natural artist and the hand of a trained seamstress, gives Maia the unique ability to create coordinating statement pieces, designed to speak the language of fun and laughter.
Living by the more is more philosophy, she’s often inspired by hyper colour, bold silhouettes and striking finishes to draw her wearers in, like a mesmerising pied piper.
With a strong interest in sustainability, Maia incorporates pre-loved and vintage fabrics wherever possible, with a strong focus on both functional and aesthetic qualities. As each piece is one off and hand made, you can be happily assured its ethically sourced and made.
Her unconventional and striking creations have turned heads across the globe, exhibiting at the New York Rainbow Fashion week, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, Whitehouse Institute of Design Parade, Shibuya Cultural centre Japan and now basing herself in Tokyo.
Each garment is made to order and designs are limited.
