I am delighted to introduce you to world champions of the "Best Pen Name" competition!
Almostbanana and Totallymushroom!
Just saying them makes me smile, every time.
"Sarah, what are you doing?" - "I'm writing about Almostbanana and Totallymushroom."
"Who and who?" - "Almostbanana and Totallymushroom."
And it's true.
So! Let's learn a few things about these wonderfully named artists!
Starting with: Almostbanana! (aaaahahaha♡）
Almostbananaさんの作品には個性があります♡
何を見ても。ブローチでも絵画でも、刺繍でもフェルトフィギュアでも、
それぞれに個性が見えます。
Almostbanana's (huhuhu~) strength is the projecting of personality!
No matter what it is--a brooch or a painting, embroidery or a felt figure--each one has a personality all its own,
proudly on display.
バナナにも個性が見えます。色や形を見てたら、
どんな世界から来たのか？イメージ出来ました。
メッチャ可愛い世界です♡
（これはAlmostbananaじゃなくて、entirely bananaでございます♡♡♡）
Even the bananas. The way they're drawn and crafted make it so easy to imagine the kind of world they might have come from. A super cute one, obviously.
(Theses are not "almost bananas" but, if fact, entirely bananas. Haaahahaha♡)

近くに行くと、聞こえて来るかも♪彼らはいい子達だと思います。
I liked the little mice in particular.
They look like they have something important to tell you.
Lean in close, and you might just be able to hear something♪ They look like such diligent little mice.

これら上手く作った洋服にも、それぞれ性格があります。
この洋服を着るのはどんな人だろう？
ファッションにこだわりがあって、何着るか朝悩んだりしているのかな？

Look how detailed all this is!
Even this (wonderfully done) clothing has personality of its own.
It's not difficult at all to imagine the kind of character that it is all meant for.
Can you imagine their difficulty in choosing what to wear in the morning, and the kind of clothing they probably like as opposed to what they might dislike?
The ability to brilliantly put across real personality from handmade work: that is Almostbanana's (huuuuhuhuhu) genius.
Now, let's move on to meet Totallymushroom! (haaaaaahahaha)
この写真はいろんな見方が出来て、特に気になっている作品。
１番最初に感じたのは「お祭りの雰囲気！」ですが、
もう１つは「〇〇ニュースのレポーター、クレープでございます。
今日のお天気は美しいですね。皆さん、是非、お祭りを楽しんで下さい。」
Totallymushroomさんのメッセージにはどっちが近いかしら．．．♡
I was particularly intrigued by the different ways you can approach this picture.
The first thing I thought of was "Wow, it's like being transported to a festival! I can feel it!"
but the next was,
"Thank you News Station, this is your reporter, Crepe.
There's some beautiful weather out here today and we invite anyone and everyone to come and enjoy the festival."
I wonder which interpretation is closest to Totallymushroom's (huuuhuhu...haaaahaha) concept...♡
Totallymushroomさんは、ワールドトラベラーみたいですね！
前に立っている人は、世界で１番美しい故郷を見ながら、
何について考えているのでしょう？
ライトや色、角度、この瞬間が何とも素敵ですね．．．♡
Totallymushroom (huuuuuuhuhu) appears to be quite the world traveler!
I wonder what the person in front is thinking about, looking out on their home, which has got to be one of the most gorgeous places on earth.
The lighting, angle and this one, captured moment is so fantastic...♡
左の写真にスペイン語っぽい言葉がちょっと見えますね！
どこでしょう、どこでしょう♪
写真を見るだけで雰囲気がよ〜く伝わってきますね。
音や香り、暖かさや明るさを容易にイメージ出来ます。
そして、モチーフからハンドメイドフレームまで、可愛いでしょう♡
The picture to the left, here, definitely has something written in a language that looks a bit like Spanish!
I wonder where this could be ♪
Just looking at the pictures is enough to make you feel like you are there.
It is so simple to imagine the sounds, the smells, the warmth and brightness.
And everything from the motif to the handmade frames are adorable♡
